“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go”.
We loved this book. The illustrations are bright and colourful. Not to mention lovely rhyming text to go with. Dr. Seuss conveys what a joy it is to read.
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgsen Burnettt
“Two worst things as can happen to a child is never to have his own way – or always to have it.”
Another gem. the idea of a sickly child being healed with love and attention was very moving. It is a lovely story in every sense of the word.
Nate the great by Marjorie Weinman sarmat
It is a perfect introduction to the mystery genre for little kids. Nate is a quiet, serious little kid who helped his friends solve mysteries. My 6 year old daughter devoured this book.
